I suppose it's better than no Christmas tree at all! I only have a small tabletop tree myself this year (and last). Maybe next year I will go the whole nine yards and drag the big tree out.
I throw Christmas lights up on my mantel and entertainment center with no nada nothing else. I call 'em my Charlie Brown decorations. Easy as one two three and I like it that way!
