  1. No joke! I now know where Cameroon is. It's in Africa, by the way, near some other countries I didn't remember were, um, there... (Actually, I didn't even know there WAS such a place as Cameroon. I had the odd feeling it was a caramel flavored cookie...)
The world cup has been fun to watch -- I'm going to have to learn the rules so I can yell at the TV more intelligently, though...

  2. :) My little soccer players are having a blast watching the big boys play! The rules are simple enough that even I can understand them...

Brazil is Joshua's favorite team, and they have a player named "Kaka". Yes. Like caca. We find it endlessly amusing. Whenever he gets the ball, we all yeall "kaKA, kaKA!" (like some giant bird call) at the top of our lungs.

It's kind of like a drinking game. Only without liquor.

  3. Really. You're just making me want to come to your house.
:-D KaKA! And those simple rules -- I feel like I'm understanding the basics, but not the finer points. It's a fun game, for sure.

  4. :) Anytime, my friend...anytime! The only one who doesn't appreciate the kaKA game is Raikki. Every time we yell it, he jumps up and runs around the room, trying to figure out what the crisis is...

And as far as the rules go, the most complex is the offsides rule, and I'm just now getting a handle on it.
